Kobe Bryant would spend all 20 years of his professional playing career in Los Angeles for the Lakers. Drafted in 1996 Bryant would have a storied career, leading the Lakers to 5 NBA Championships (2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, 2010), he would have a litany of individual awards including NBA Most Valuable Player 2008, NBA finals MVP (2009, 2010), NBA All Star Game MVP (2002, 2007,2009, 2011) NBA scoring Champion (2006, 2007), an 18 time All Star, as well as Olympic Gold Metals from the 2008 and 2012 Olympic games.
In his career Kobe Bryant would wear number 8 and number 24 for the Lakers. During half time of the December 18th 2017 Game at Staples Center, the Los Angeles Lakers would officially retire both of his jerseys. During this game the Lakers would sell limited series of #8 and #24 jerseys honoring honoring the retirement ceremony. This framed jersey is one of those and has Kobe’s signature, 5 stars for his championships, his nick name “BLACK MAMBA” and the date embroidered on the right front of the jersey.
