$1,195.00

Size: 22.5”x26.5” (Framed)

This photograph shows Dodger Hall of Fame Pitcher Sandy Koufax facing New York Yankee’s Hall of Famer Roger Maris in Game 1 of the 1963 World Series in New York. This marked the 1st time in franchise history that the New York Yankees were swept in The World Series, this due in large part to amazing pitching by Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, and Johnny Podres.

Koufax would pitch a complete game striking out 15 Yankees, which included Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle twice, both of whom would finish this game without a hit.

This photograph is autographed by Sandy Koufax, who would win his 1st of 3 Cy Young Awards this year, as well as MVP, finishing the season with 25 Wins, a 1.88 ERA, and 306 strikeouts. This Framed and double matted photograph is authenticated by Online Authentics.
